L.B. Nolan, 75, Goodman, MO, passed into eternal rest November 4, 2015 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin from injuries sustained from a tractor accident.
Linzy Byrl Nolan was February 26, 1940 in Stilwell, OK the son of the Joseph and Theresa (Shook) Nolan. L.B. was a people person and loved to visit. He was a member of the Good Ole' Boy's Coffee Club from the C-Mart and Goodman Gas. L.B.'s hobbies were being outdoors, cutting wood, farming, cattle and gardening. L.B. was a teacher for the Seneca School District and the Wheaton School District. He taught 19 years at Seneca where he also was the High School Principal following that 7 years at Wheaton. L.B. loved his students, family and friends. In 1989 L.B. went to work at Leggett & Platt and he retired in 2005 and begin farming full time. He was a member of the Rocketdyne Road Church of Christ, Neosho.
L.B. Nolan married Beverly Jo Hutchison August 21, 1964 in Seneca, MO and she survives.
Additional survivors include one son Chad Linzy Nolan and wife Mary, Neosho; one daughter, Cindy Kay Morgan and husband Scott, Stella, MO; two grandchildren, Nikolas Nolan Manley, Goodman, MO and Samantha Joy Nolan, Neosho; Two brothers, George Nolan and wife Phyllis, Park Hill, OK and Don Nolan and wife Mina, Tulsa, OK and a host of extended family, students and many friends.
L.B. was preceded in death by his mother and father, Theresa and Joseph; two brothers, Dean Nolan and Lenard Nolan and one sister Bille Jean Wiseley.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca. Following the visitation the body will be taken for cremation. The family will hold a private service at a later date.
