John Allen Noyes, age 81, of Liberal, Missouri passed away July 5, 2020, at his home.
John was born January 5, 1939 in Liberal, MO to James Ray Noyes and Eula Maude (Millard) Noyes. He graduated from Liberal High School in the class of 1957. He served his country in the United States Army.
On September 18, 1964, John married Carolyn Sue Cowardin at Lamar First Christian Church and together they raised three children. He was a hard working farmer who farmed in Liberal his entire life. He enjoyed running the grader for Double S Dirtworks, Inc. as well as building terraces and grading roads for the county. He loved to attend all of his grandkids' sports and school activities. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching college basketball games as well as bowling on a men's league and mixed doubles. He was saved in 1985 and he and his family attended Christ's Church of Oronogo.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 56 years; one son, Allen (Penny) Noyes, Maumelle, AR; two daughters, Angela (Todd) Delph, Webb City, MO and Alison (Dan) Rogers, Webb City, MO; one brother, Tom (Lynn) Noyes, Lathrop, MO; one sister, Sue Martin, Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren, Peyton Rogers, Maggie Noyes, Tanner Rogers, and Parker Noyes.
Preceding John in death were his parents and one brother, Jim Noyes.
A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2020, at Daniel Funeral Home with full military honors.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
