Cynthia Lynn Yount, age 50 of Oronogo, Missouri passed away at her home following a sudden illness.
Cynthia was born October 13, 1964 in Joplin, MO to Charles Leon Cole and Rubie Vanderpool Ward. She was a Certified Nurse Aide for several nursing facilities in the area but most recently was working as a Home Health Aide.
Surviving relatives include her parents; three sons, Brandon Cox of Marshfield, MO., Jeremy Cox and wife Shelly of Carthage, Zachary Cox of Pittsburg, Kansas; sister, Deborah Leann Morgan and husband, Pete of Carthage; nine grandchildren; nephew Caleb Morgan and wife Rachael; long time friend, Mike Kannard of the home; many extended family and close friends that will miss Cynthia dearly.
A memorial service is planned for Friday, October 24, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Parker Mortuary chapel. Family will receive friends starting at 1:00 P.M. up to service time. Committal of ashes will take place following the service at Saginaw Cemetery, Saginaw, Missouri.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
