Robert D. Broadwater, 71, of Texarkana, TX passed away October 16, 2014 in a local hospital.
Mr. Broadwater was born October 6, 1943 to the late Franklin and Mae Broadwater in Joplin, MO. He was a retired Air Force Air Traffic Controller, serving four deployments in Vietnam and was employed at Texarkana Regional Airport. He was a Christian.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Broadwater of Texarkana, TX; son, Robert D. Broadwater, II of Covington, GA; granddaughters, Kelly Broadwater and Andrea Broadwater of Covington, GA; 3 brothers; and 5 sisters.
A graveside service is planned for Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the Fairview Cemetery, Joplin.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
