Sandra Marie "Sandy" McClellan, age 59, Joplin, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at her home.
Sandy was born Januiary 16, 1056 in Sterling, Kansas, daughter of the late Mac and Peggy McClellan. She attended school in Hutchiison, Kansas, and worked as a self employed cleaning service working mainly in commercial settings.
She loved spending time with her family, and also enjoyed traveling. She liked being outdoors by camping and going fishing. She was known as a huge animal lover, and was always recuing strays. She was a compassionate woman who helped anyone who asked her in their time of need.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Houser and husband Thad of Fountain, Colorado; grandchildren, Trenton and Gabrielle; cousin, Tom Barr of Joplin, brother, Eddie McClellan and wife Lois of Florida.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary with no formal services planned at this time.
