Mary Elizabeth Napier, age 64 of Joplin, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at her residence following a sudden illness.
Mary was born September 28, 1950 in Webb City, Mo. to the late Henry Marvin and Clara Elizabeth Williams Martin. Throughout her life she worked as a nurse and a waitress in the Joplin area.
She is survived by one daughter, Trina Napier of Joplin; sons, Jerry Hughey of Tulsa, OK., Michael Napier and wife Brandi of Cabool, Mo., James Napier of Joplin; sisters, Henrietta St. Marie of Carterville, Alberta Owens and Marva Chambers, both of Southwest City, Mo.
Mary is preceded in death by one brother, Henry Martin.
A graveside service is planned for 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 27, 2014 at the Carterville Cemetery.
Service arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
