Dean Denham

Harold Dean Denham, age 63 of Carl Junction, MO, passed away at his home at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2014, after an illness of a few months.

Born September 23, 1951 in Greensboro, NC, he was the son of the late Harold Lloyd Denham and Leona B. Sanders Denham. Dean retired in 2013 as a Quality Technician with F.A.G. Bearings with over 39 years of service. He received his Associate Degree from M.S.S.U. in computer assisted manufacturing technology in spring of 2013. He was a Christian. A talented guitarist, he played with the Raging River Band and Elk River Band. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and R.V.ing.

On July 5, 1986, he married Stephanie Beck in Joplin. She survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Josh Denham and wife Crystal of Springdale, AR; his mother, Lea Denham of Joplin; his sister, Sherry Denham Johnson and husband Larry of Joplin; his granddaughter, Audrey Denham of Springdale; numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Osborne Memorial Cemetery with Chaplain Ed Hahn officiating. Pallbearers will be Tony Metheny, Craig Immesote, Dave Stewart, Mark Jacobs, Larry Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Justin Bawl and Ron Daughtery. Following the graveside, family and friends are invited to an informal reception at McClelland Park. Visitation will be Monday at Parker Mortuary from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Audrey Denham Scholarship Fund, in care of Parker Mortuary, for his granddaughter’s education.
