John Junior Wyrick, 90, Neosho, died October 25, 2014 at Freeman Neosho following an illness.
He was born September 9, 1924 in Wyandotte, Oklahoma, the son of John and Maude (Akers) Wyrick. John was a lifelong area resident and worked as a supervisor for the Missouri State Highway Department for 31 years, retiring in 1986. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and built stock cars.
John married Eva Mae (Wilma) Brock on May 30, 1943 in Miami, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death on February 1, 2013. He is survived by three children, Jesstine Ball, Granby, MO, Larry Wyrick, Baxter Springs, KS and Donna Sageser, Kansas City, MO; nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, John is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and five sisters.
