Jayne Flesher

Jayne Flesher, age 77, of Webb City, MO., passed away on Saturday October 4, 2014, at her home following an illness. 

Jayne was born on January 30, 1937 in Joplin, the daughter of the late Jack and Addie (Bigley) Hardy. Her father died when she was very young and her mother married Nelson Lundstrum, who raised her as his daughter. 

Jayne married Wendell Flesher on May 12, 1956 in Sand Springs, Ok. Together they raised four children. She was a member of the Webb City First Baptist Church, where she was very active in supporting the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home. 

She made many crafts and quilts to support the home. When Jayne was asked her occupation she simply said, “wife, mother, and gram”. She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Wendell Flesher, Webb City, MO.; one son, Tony Flesher and wife Sandy, Oronogo, MO.; three daughters, Colleen Ratcliff, Lamar, MO., Paula Crawford and husband Larry, Webb City, MO., and Audra Hunter and husband Gary, Manteo, NC; one brother Tom Lundstrum, Springdale, AR., five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and one on the way. She was preceded in death by four brothers and seven sisters.
