Inez “Mary” Rose Hampton, 72, passed away October 8, 2014 in Springfield, MO.
Mary was born March 9, 1942 in Racine, MO to Robert and Rose Waters. Mary was a homemaker and a waitress working in the R&M Café the J&A Café and the 4-states auto auctions. Mary was a member of the Gospel Workers Church. She played the piano at the church for several years and could play almost any instrument. She was a resident and actively involved in Gods Resort for the past 2 years.
Mary is survived by her lifetime companion Nelson Clark of Joplin, one daughter Joyce Hilton of Springfield, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mary is preceded by her parents and two sisters Gail and Dorothy.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday October 10, 2014 at The Gospel Workers church Joplin, Missouri. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
