Richard L. Thurman, 61, Goodman, died Nov. 2, 2016 at his home, following a short illness.
Richard was born Oct. 2, 1955 in Neosho, the son of William and Wilma Jean (Whittington) Thurman. He was a lifelong area resident and had worked at Pet Milk and then at Wal-Mart for twenty four years before retiring. He enjoyed working and watching old movies.
Richard is survived by his wife, Rita of the home; one brother, Derry Thurman of Neosho and one sister, Glenda Mosby, Neosho. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tim Thurman.
Services will be Monday, Nov. 7, 2016 at 10 am at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow in the Gibson Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm and Sunday, from 1 pm to 5 pm.
