Barbara Ann Allen Cummins 74, entered into rest February 18, 2019 in Grove, OK. She was born June 20, 1944 in Neosho, MO to William Doveall and Fern (Eshom) Parsons.
Barbara was a graduate of Neosho High School and worked as a press operator for Sunbeam for 18 years. She moved to Grove in 2006.
Barbara was a member of Racine Christian Church and attended the Grove United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing cards, doing crafts, and square dancing; she was a member of Uptown Girls of Grove.
Barbara was married to Clarence Laverne Allen from 1986 until his death in 2002. She then married Eugene Cummins in 2006; he preceded her in death in 2016.
Barbara is survived by three children: David Allen and wife, DeeAnn of Seneca, Tamra Watkins and husband, Ed of Branson, and Terri Jo Shaw-Smith of Charlotte, NC; two siblings: Dick Parsons of Granby and Betty Gibson and husband, Bob of Neosho; eight grandchildren: Rick Allen, Reeta Allen-Taylor, both of Neosho, Edward “E.J.” Watkins of Branson, Allison Watkins-Slaybaugh of Nixa, MO, Jan Smith, Timothy Haire, Elizabeth Haire, and Sami Jo Smith, all of Henderson, KY; nine great granddaughters; six great grandsons; her caregivers: nephew Robert Parsons and wife, Renee; and great niece, Sweet Faith Parsons.
Visitation will be 5:30 – 6:30 pm Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho. Services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Clark Chapel of Memories, Neosho, with interment following at Hazel Green Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Rick Allen, Edward “E.J.” Watkins, Ed Watkins, Robert Parsons, Justin Taylor, and Don Beck.
