Mildred Marie Stover was born January 5, 1936 in Iola, Kansas, the daughter of Will and Hazel (Wallace) Bedenbender. She entered into rest on February 27, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, following a sudden illness at the age of 83 years, 1 month and 21 days.
Mildred earned her master's degree in English and was a teacher in the Neosho Public School system for many years.
She moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, five years ago. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Neosho.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Stover of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one brother, Dr. John Bedenbender and wife, Mary Sue of Mt. Vernon, Texas; one sister, Wilma Elrod and husband, Jess of Tulsa, Oklahoma; nephew, Jay Elrod and wife, Shauna and their daughters, Miranda Elrod, Abbigail Elrod and Lily Elrod.
