Lois Welcher

Lois L. Welcher was born July 13, 1927 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Kenneth E. and Aleen (Wright) Bullington. She entered into rest on February 15, 2019 in Florida at the age of 91 years, 7 months and 2 days.

 She worked as a bookkeeper in medical offices and was a member of the Methodist Church. As a young child until a teenager, she sang at WPO Radio and state fairs and was a talented painter. 

 Lois and Robert Welcher were married on December 7, 1946 in California. 

 She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Robert; three sons, Michael Welcher and wife, Mary Ann of Pennsylvania, Gary Welcher of Florida and Patrick Welcher of Florida; two grandchildren, Bob Welcher of Arizona and Robin Fochtman of Pennsylvania; one brother, Dick Bullington of Arizona and nieces, Bonnie Wood of Kentucky, Kathy Ann Cowger of California, Pamela Orgill of California, Diana McMurtrey of California and Vicky Ferris of California, one nephew, Dean Welcher of Neosho, Missouri.
