Terry L. Kahler was born May 11, 1946 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, the son of Arthur and Joyce Harriet (Hazen) Kahler. He entered into rest on February 15, 2019 at his home in Neosho, following an extended illness.
Terry served his country in the U.S. Air Force 1967-1971. He worked as an aircraft mechanic for Cessna and moved to Neosho in 2011 from Independence, Kansas. He enjoyed fishing, golf, grilling and loved his family and his church family. He was an active member of Believer’s Faith Fellowship Church.
Terry and Faye Wimberley were married on June 23, 1991 at Bartlesville, Oklahoma and she survives.
In addition to Faye, four children survive, Todd Kahler of Independence, Kansas, Leandra (Brent) Cotton of Neosho, Billy Charles (Cheryl) Martin, Jr. of Neosho and Melinda Martin of Neosho; one brother, David (Jan) Kahler of Skiatook, Oklahoma; one sisters, Sharon (Les) Miller of Independence, Kansas; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by the mother of his son, Connie Kahler, grandson, Tanner Kahler and his parents.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 2 pm at the Believers’ Faith Church, Pastors Doyle and Sandy Shaw will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Believers’ Faith Church, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850.
