Denzel Faye Helmar, of Lockwood, MO, departed this life on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, MO at the age of 91.
She was born on September 30, 1927 in Fair Play, MO to Henry and Lee Ora (Williams) Wallen. Faye was united in marriage to Douglas Wayne Helmar Sr. on February 26, 1955 in Oakdale, CA. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.
Preceding her in death were parents, Henry and Lee Ora Wallen; her husband, Douglas Helmar Sr.; one daughter, Janis Stirm; one son-in-law, Mark Kenedy; three brothers; and six sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas Helmar Jr. and Darrell Helmar; two daughters, Sharon Brooks and Diane Kenedy; one son-in-law, Vernon Stirm; one brother, Dale Wallen; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
