LeRoy Richard Kivinen, 62, Neosho, entered into rest on Feb. 17, 2019 at his home, following a short illness.
LeRoy was born Jan. 17, 1957 in Dearborn, MI, the son of Victor Theodore and Lela Martha (Fisher) Kivinen. He moved to Neosho in 1990 from Palo, MI and worked as a truck driver for CFI. He had served in the U.S. Marines and was of the Baptist Faith.
LeRoy is survived by his children, Michael Kivinen, Richard Kivinen and Ashley Kivinen; one brother, Kim Kivinen of Canada and two sisters, Joanne Star of St. Peter, FL and Yvonne Naylor of Neosho. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carol.
Memorial graveside services will be held on May 18, 2019 at Oakwood Cemetery.
