(From Clark Funeral Home)James W. Weston was born May 11, 1931 in Washburn, Missouri the son of Cecil and Veta (Poe) Weston. He entered into rest on December 3, 2020 in Bella Vista, Arkansas, following a lengthy illness at the age of 89.
James was a lifelong area resident and served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked in the construction industry as a heavy equipment operator and enjoyed horses.
James and Dixie (Shadwick) were married in 1954 in Neosho and she survives.
In addition to his wife of 66 years, James is survived by a son, Billy Weston of Neosho; grandson, Michael Weston; step grandaughter, Theresa Litchfield and four sisters, Opal Carden of Cassville, Leona Hadley of Portland, Oregon, Ruby Coberly of Joplin and Faye Bonebrake of Pineville.
In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by a grandson, James David Weston and three brothers, Howard, Clyde and Raymond Weston
