(From Knell Mortuary)Earl Edward Sneed, 74, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Saturday morning, December 19, 2020 at Freeman Hospital West, Joplin, Missouri. Earl was born September 30, 1946 in Girard, Kansas, the son of Lois (Boggs) Sneed.
Earl was a veteran, proudly serving his country in the U.S. Navy. He married Brenda Woody on August 26, 1972. Earl enjoyed reading, animals, and taking care of his family.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda; a daughter, Julie Lee (Kevin); a son, Dustin Sneed; four grandchildren, Graham Lee, Isaac Lee, Trevor Comer, and Mason Sneed; a brother, Everett Sneed; three sisters, Marie Sneed, Sally Short, and Christy Sieber; and many extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Beverlin.
