Linda was born to Loran and Mary Bessie (Rhodes) Moore on February 10, 1951, in Gideon, Missouri. She attended Malden schools and was a member of the graduating class of 1969.

On July 26 of the same year, she was united in marriage to Randle Lemings. Randle survives his wife and resides in their home in rural Malden.

Other survivors include two sons, Eric (Deanna) Lemings of Holcomb and Spencer (Kari) Lemings of Gideon, one sister, Brenda Fitzpatrick of Lamar, Missouri, three nephews, Steve Moore of Forrest City, Arkansas, Ricky Fitzpatrick of Lamar, Missouri and Roger Fitzpatrick of Kansas City, Missouri, one grandson Hunter Swafford of Dexter, Missouri and four precious granddaughters Maggie Mae, Maleigh Elizabeth, Ella Jane and Annie Kate and host of friends and other relatives.

During the 1980's, Linda worked for the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell as the Social Services director. In 1990, she took a job with the United States Postal Service. She worked as a part-time employee until being hired full-time, in 2000, and continued working for thirteen years. She was a rural route carrier and talked frequently about different individuals and how each came to be in her life.

Linda loved flowers and studying precious stones. She took pride in her flower gardens and enjoyed the spring season when she could get out and enjoy planting and growing beautiful beds to enjoy during the summer months. When the weather would turn so that she had to stay in, she found joy in researching and learning about the gemology of different stones.

She was preceded in death by her parents Loran and Mary Moore and her brother and sister in law, Lloyd and Mattie Moore of Forrest City, Arkansas and a nephew David Moore of Forrest City, Arkansas.

Graveside services were conducted at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden. Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden in charge of all arrangements.
