(From Clark Funeral Home)Dorothy 'Jean' Adams was born Wednesday, April 8, 1931 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, one of eight children to Brad and Grace Walker. She entered into rest on December 22, 2020 in Neosho, following a two month illness at the age of 89.
Jean graduated from Fayetteville High School and moved to Neosho in 1948 from Fayetteville. She worked as catalog supervisor at J.C. Penney in Neosho for twenty five years, retiring in 1993. She enjoyed gardening and was a collector of antiques.
Jean and Robert 'Bob' Adams were married on Aug. 10, 1950 in Neosho and he preceded her in death on July 17, 2014.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Sondra Walker Wyrick of Neosho; one grandson, Jason Wyrick and wife, Jill of Springdale, Arkansas; two great grandsons, Jackson and Camrin Wyrick; two brothers, Rex Walker and wife, Joyce and Russell Walker and wife, Joy of Joplin and one sister, Ruby Jo Rollins of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Joyce and three brothers, Robert, Rowe and Ralph Walker.
