Carol Dvorak

Carol Gertrude Dvorak, age 66, Galena, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Freeman West of Joplin.

Carol was born February 15, 1954 in Wurzburg, Germany, daughter of the late George Dvorak and Gertrude Wolfgang Dvorak. Carol followed her father's military career, living in Neosho, MO., Junction City, Kansas, and Denver, Colorado before graduating from George Washington High School in Denver.

She relocated to Joplin in 1972, and worked for 20 years at Montgomery Ward in appliance sales, later with the Jasper County Public Administrator's office and lastly as a tax accountant.








Survivors include her husband of 35 years, William, (Bill) Martin; two brothers, Bert Dvorak of Joplin, John Dvorak and wife Sandy of Galena; aunt, Marietta Cartright of Joplin; mother-in-law, Dixie Martin of Carl Junction; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial service will be Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel with Pastor David Pizinger officiating and visitation to follow.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.

  1. You forgot to mention her three children in her obituary which would seem very important. Jennifer Michelle Jamison,of Loma Linda Mo; Jeanette Adelle Hunter of Carthage,Mo. and Jeremiah William Hunter, of Columbia,Mo.
