Marjorie Bever

Mrs. Marjorie Ruth Bever, 92, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday afternoon, December 19, 2020, at McDonald County Living Center in Anderson.

Marjorie entered this life on February 13, 1928, in Pineville, Missouri, daughter of the late Charlie and Hazel Mae (Watson) Gardner. She was a lifelong area resident. 

On May 2, 1950, she was united in marriage to Harry Bever and together they shared sixty years before his passing on December 16, 2010. Before Doris was born, Marjorie worked at the Anderson Telephone Company as a phone operator. She enjoyed feeding her birds, crocheting, gardening and canning. She was a longtime member of the Pineville Christian Church. 






She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry Bever; and two brothers, Wesley Eugene and Loren Dale Gardner.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Doris Smith and husband, Galeon, of Noel, Missouri; two granddaughters, Tammy Moorehouse and husband, Scott, of Neosho, Missouri and Terisa Vigil and husband, Donnie, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Brush Creek Cemetery near Jane, Missouri, with Pastor Galeon Smith officiating. 

Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Scott Moorehouse, Donnie Vigil, Gordon Henson, Kenny Underwood, Derek White and Matt Moorehouse. On-line condolences may be sent to the family through our website, www.ozarkfuneralhome.com.
