Kathy was a loving and devoted wife to Marlin Creed of 55 years and an adored mother, mother in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was her family's biggest fan and supporter.
She never missed an event, game, celebration, or opportunity to show her family how much she loved them. She was always doing for others and made life special for all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents James and Viva Knott, her brother, James Knott and her sister Charletta (Kenneth) Sanders.
Granny, as she was called by most, left priceless treasured memories for her family. She was a wonderful cook and was notorious for making and decorating special cakes, cookies, and banners for every occasion, or just to brighten someone’s day. She was an excellent seamstress and found pleasure in making beautiful handmade gifts for her family and friends. She loved to garden and share the fruits of her labor, her specialty was growing herbs and making dried spices and syrups.
She was very creative and talented, writing poems, some funny, some serious, to commemorate special occasions and life events. She also enjoyed taking pictures and putting together beautiful memory books for her family. She made special custom calendars every year for each family member with pictures throughout the year, including everyone’s birthdays and weddings. Her family will never forget the numerous celebrations, family dinners, Easter egg hunts complete with fun prizes, and the yearly beginning of deer season hotdog roast around the campfire.
Her grandchildren and their friends will miss all of the amazing times they had with their granny, granny and Pap’s house was always the best place to be. Her three great grandchildren will miss their favorite playmate, teacher and best friend that they called “UU” her favorite name of all.
Kathy was kind and generous and celebrated life big. She was always there for her family and friends and made everyday special for everyone. We are all better people because she was part of our lives. She will be greatly missed and will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
