(From Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home)David L. Gilstrap, 53, Neosho, MO, passed away August 8, 2026 at St Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK from injuries from a motorcycle accident.
David Lavaughn Gilstrap was born November 23, 1972 in Joplin, MO the son of Lonnie and Karen (Daniels) Gilstrap. David was a life long area resident and worked for Missouri Walnut in Neosho, MO. He loved working on cars, hot rods and motorcycles. David loved riding across the country and loved trips to mountains.
David L. Gilstrap married Shana Harp November 29, 1991 in Seneca, MO. and she survives.
Additional survivors include; his mother Keren Gilstrap, Seneca; his children, son, Dade Gilstrap, Neosho; one daughter, KameronGilstrap, Neosho; siblings; Michael Gilstrap and wife Megan, Webb City, Rodney Gilstrap and wife Evelyn, Seneca and Crystal Bray, Seneca; a host of extend family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10am to 11am, Saturday, August 15th at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO. Following the visitation the body will be taken for cremation.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
