Bob Noland

Robert “Bob” Noland, age 83, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at his home.

He was born August 8, 1935 in Chilhowee, Missouri the son of David “Jim” and Lena Mae (Phelps) Noland. On September 4, 1954 he was united in marriage to Dorothy Rae Falke, who preceded him in death on February 25, 1992. To this union two sons were born. On January 22, 1993 he married Joyce (Bennett) Dyer, who died on February 23, 2006. Also preceding him in death were his parents.

Surviving are two sons, Dennis Noland and his wife Carolyn of Cassville, Missouri and Michael Noland and his wife Tracy of Joplin, Missouri; two step-daughters, Robin King and her husband Mike of Springfield, Missouri and Jackie Ball and her husband Derrick of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; one brother, Vernon Wayne Noland of Gladstone, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Tiffanie Holman and her husband Travis and Whitney Kloss and her husband Jake all of Cassville, Missouri, Brandon Horton of Republic, Missouri, Ryan Horton of Springfield, Missouri; Maggie Slutter and Max Slutter both of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; Jennifer Giberti and her husband James and Michael Baker and his wife Jasmine all of Monett, Missouri and Matthew Baker of Pierce City, Missouri; fifteen great grandchildren, Kyler and Kinlee Holman, Allyson, Jace, Brily, Libby, Steven, Neeley and Harper Kloss, Miana, Cameron, Shelby and Colby Horton and Mya and Lyla Giberti and a special friend, Janet Poyner.



Bob attended schools in Chilhowee, Archie and then high school in Raytown, Missouri. Most of his life was spent as a contractor, building houses. In 1973 he moved from Raytown to Cassville to make his home. He was saved in the Baptist Faith and attended Victory Baptist Church.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 28, 2018 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastors Russell Bishop, Jerry Yarnall, Jerry Hext and Jerry Williams will conduct the services. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter, Missouri.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Friday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

Contributions may be made to Missouri Baptist Children's Home in St. Louis or Baptist Hill in Mt. Vernon in memory of Bob.
