Nathan Burr

Nathan Lee Alan Burr, age 33, of Joplin, Mo., passed away on December 18, 2018, at University of Kansas Medical Center, surrounded by his family, following an illness.

Nathan was born on July 31, 1985, in Springfield, Mo. He has lived most of his life in Joplin. He worked as a color operator for Wikoff Color. Nathan enjoyed fishing, hunting, kayaking, the St. Louis Cardinals, the Kansas City Chiefs and Missouri Tigers.

Nathan is survived by his parents, Chris and Karesa (Copeland) Burr; his beloved Doberman Ozzie; two brothers, Mitchel Burr and wife, Megan of Dallas, Tx., and Calvin Burr and wife Maegan of Joplin, Mo.; his nana, Cynthia Burr; his grandpa, Darrell Copeland and wife, Janet; aunt Joni, uncle Lance and cousin Cory Rogers. Nathan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jim Burr; and grandmother, Karen Copeland.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Charlie Landis will officiate.

Contributions may be made to Mid-America Transplant St. Louis in care of the mortuary.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
