Mearl J Redden of Commerce, OK passed from this life Saturday, December 22, 2018 at his home. He was 67.
Mearl was born September 10, 1951 in Tehachapi, CA to Jack and Mary (Carter) Redden. He had lived in Commerce since 1983 moving from Picher, OK. Mearl graduated from Picher – Cardin High School Class of 1969 and from Missouri Southern in Joplin, MO with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music. He was a music teacher.
Mearl married Kathy (Spriggs) Redden January 7, 1986 and she survives of the home. Additional survivors include 2 children, Michael Perriman of Pampa, TX and Melissa Perriman of Joplin, MO, 3 brothers, Jack Redden of Riverton,KS, John Redden of Miami, OK and James Redden of Miami, OK, 2 sisters, Brenda Redden of Miami, OK and Cindy Martin of Marion, IA, 3 grandchildren Destany Perriman, John Michael Perriman and Jade Perriman.
Mearl will lie in state at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, December 24, 2018. Private interment will be on Thursday.
