Robert Michael Duncan, age 38, of Sheldon, Missouri passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at his home, surrounded by family and friends after a two-and-a-half-year battle with brain cancer. He faced it with courage, determination, and a good sense of humor.
Robbie was born January 30, 1980 to Danny Lee Duncan and Thelma Margaret Willet. He graduated Lamar High School in 1998. On April 25, 2009 he married Heidi Marie Woolston. He worked as a Number One Operator in the Press Department at 3M Commercial Graphics in Nevada for over seven years and had previously worked at EPOCH/TAMKO for six-and-a-half years. Robbie lived to hunt, fish, go camping and enjoyed traveling/cruises with his family and friends. He was a loyal fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, through the good and bad.
Survivors include his wife Heidi Duncan; two sons, Kyler Michael Duncan, Liberal, Missouri and Casyn Jae Michael Duncan of the home; his father, Danny Duncan and life partner, Edith Kimbrough, Lamar; his mother Thelma Fortner and life partner, Bill Cackley, Lamar; one brother, Travis Lee Duncan; father-in-law Rick Woolston, mother-in-law Alta Woolston, sister-in-law Ginger, and husband Travis Williams; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friend. He will be greatly missed!
Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents Loren and Leotta Duncan; maternal grandparents Eugene and Ruth Willet; and a step son, Jae Andrew Boyd in 2005.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Lamar First Christian Church with burial to follow in Sheldon Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 5:30 to 7:00 pm, Tuesday at Daniel Funeral Home.
