Lorraine Logan, age 100, Carthage, MO, passed away Friday morning, December 21, 2018 in Carthage.
Lorraine was born June 26, 1918 in Monarch, OK to the late Irvan Schnitzer and Jewell Green. She attended Carthage High School. She married Dr. Fred Logan, Sr.; he preceded her in death after 59 years of marriage. Lorraine was a member of the St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Carthage. She enjoyed sewing, flowers, gardening, and loved singing in choir and helping with St. Anne’s, but most of all, loved her kids.
Survivors include her daughter, Becky Massey (David), Joplin, MO; her son, Sam Logan (Sharon), Mt. Vernon, MO; fourteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two sons, Dr. Fred Logan, Jr. and Tony Michael Logan.
Visitation will be held 1-2 pm, Thursday, December 27, 2018 at St Anne’s Catholic Church, Carthage. Services will follow at 2 pm. Interment will follow the service at Park Cemetery, Carthage. Memorial gifts are suggested to St. Anne’s Catholic School, Carthage in care of Knell Mortuary. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com.
