Harold Myers

Harold Neil Myers, 86, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 19, 2018.

Harold was born October 8, 1932, in Anderson, Missouri, to the late Frank and Mabel (Rogers) Myers. He was a resident of Sarcoxie for more than 50 years. Harold served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, where he earned several commendations. He was also a member of the American Legion. Harold made his professional career as a welder working for Faubion Tank in Carthage and later worked for Justin Boot. He enjoyed watching old western movies, reading, working on the farm and gardening. Harold was a member of Fairview Christian Church in Carthage.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Michael; and two sisters, Jean Wilson and Katherine Scott.



Survivors include his wife, Barbara Myers, of the home; daughter, Barbara Kelly, and husband Robert, of Oakley, Kansas; son, Lee Myers and wife, Rebecca, of Springfield, Missouri; grandchildren, Britni Lyon and husband Joe, Steven Kelly, Brandi Hulon and husband, Ian, Carleigh Rose Kelly and Jennifer Myers; great-grandchildren, Spencer and Heath Lyon; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Graveside memorial services are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Colley Cemetery in Stotts City, Missouri, with Pastor Robert Kelly officiating. Online condolences may be sent through our website www.housh-goodwinfuneralhome.com.
