Kenneth Wayne Dobrauc, age 77, Mount Vernon, Missouri, formerly of Joplin, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Missouri Veteran's Home.
Kenneth was born August 5, 1941 in Joplin, son of the late Antone John Dobrauc and Orphina “Zanon” Dobrauc. He graduated from Joplin High School in 1959 and served in the United States Army. He worked for the family business, Franklin Oil Company, a Mobil Oil Distributor in Southwest Missouri. He was of the Catholic Faith.
In addition to his parents, a grandchild, Ethan Scott Giett, preceded Kenneth in death.
Survivors include his children, Tina Dobrauc of Joplin, Teresa Giett, and Trent Dobrauc both of Carthage; brother, Antone "Tony" Dobrauc of Omaha, Nebraska; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Rosary will be recited and the family will receive friends Tuesday 18 December 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Parker mortuary. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday 19 December 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in St. Ann's Catholic Church, Carthage. Father J Friedel will be officiating. Interment will follow in Park Cemetery, Carthage.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
