Jacob Lee Jeffery, age 36, Galena, Kansas, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 in Fredonia, Kansas.
He was born August 7, 1982 in Joplin, Missouri, to Rosealee Diane Brand Jeffery and the late Donald Lee Jeffery.
He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Walter David Wilson.
He worked as a framer for Burkhart Construction Company following his service in the United States Army.
Survivors include his mother, Rosealee Wolf, Joplin; his companion of six years, Sarah Haase, Galena; one son, Brantley Jeffery; one daughter, Gwendolyn Haase; two brothers, John Frederick Jeffery and wife, Jenny, Galena, Joshua Jeffery; two sisters, Lisa Diane Gordon, Carterville, Shawnte Jeffery, Webb City; several nieces and nephews; stepmother, Diana Jeffery, Webb City; and a loyal puppy, Serenity.
Funeral services are planned for 10:00 a.m. Friday the First Christian Church, Galena. Rev. Joseph West, Jr. will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Parker Mortuary. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Galena. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Children’s Educational Fund and may be left in care of the mortuary.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
