Faye Baldwin

Lourena Faye Baldwin, age 76, of Golden City, Missouri died Wednesday, December 11, 2018 at Cox Barton County Hospital.
Faye was born July 19, 1942 in Kirkland, Washington to Charles Mitchell Brasher and Doris Hope (Kirkpatrick) Brasher. She was a 1960 graduate of Golden City High School. Following graduation, Faye married Jim Baldwin on August 6, 1960 in Golden City. Faye was a past member of the Golden City Assembly of God Church. Faye worked as a paraprofessional for Barton-Dade-Jasper County Co-Op for many years. After retiring, she worked at Walmart (Lamar) and Casey’s General Store (Golden City). She loved doing genealogy, keeping up with her children’s and grandchildren’s school sporting events and activities. She also enjoyed reading, planting flower, and was known as a “great cook”
Survivors include three sons, Kevin Baldwin, Vandalia, Missouri, Charlie Baldwin, Golden City and Robin (Cheryl) Baldwin, Lamar, Missouri; one daughter, Nikki (Mark) Hancock, Milo, Missouri; two sisters, Wanda Willis, Golden City, Missouri and Carol (Bill) Scott, Jasper, Missouri; a brother-in-law Gene Fanning; grandchildren, Bradley (Florenda) Baldwin, Luke Baldwin, Caleb Baldwin, Olivia Baldwin, Zac (Chloe) Baldwin, Hailey (Brandon) Braker; Madison Baldwin; great grandchildren Logan, Brecklyn, Barrett, and Lynleigh.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, a brother James Brasher, sister Eugenia Fanning and a daughter-in-law Arlene Baldwin.
Service will be 10:00 am, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Golden City.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday, December 14, 2018 at the funeral home.
Contributions are suggested to Barton-Dade-Jasper County Co-Op in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
