Kathleen Sue Shuey, 71, Neosho, entered into rest on Dec. 21, 2018 in Neosho, following an eight month illness.
Kathleen was born on April 23, 1947 in Wheaton, MO, the daughter of Orlando P. and Vivian V. (Haviland) Hickman. She was a lifelong area resident. Kathleen worked at Kraft Foods for many years and then worked as a caseworker in the children’s division for the State of Missouri. She was a graduate of MSSU. Kathleen enjoyed taking care of her garden and flowers, crafts and especially being with her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Ann Bryant and husband, Michael of West Branson, MO and Karen Michelle Treadwell and husband, Tom of Neosho; nine grandchildren, Miranda (Ben) Jones, Mirissa (Keith) Griffin, Megan (Josh) Ogle, Leonard (Lora) Neil and Blaine Treadwell, Brian (Terra) Treadwell, Philip (Stacey) Treadwell, Kelli (Andy) Perigo and Elisa Bryant; nineteen great grandchildren; three brothers, J. P. Hickman of Monett, Joe Hickman and Leslie Hickman of Wheaton and two sisters, Donna Youngblood of Ridgley, MO and Vera Higgs of Nashville, TN.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Maynard Hickman.
Graveside services will be Friday, Dec. 28, 2018 at 10 am at the Rocky Comfort Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 7 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho. Contributions in memory of Kathleen may be made to CASA, c/o Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
