Reatha Ellen Dickey was born December 28, 1924 in Splitlog, Missouri, the daughter of Jess and Ellen (Sharp) Powers. She entered into rest on December 5, 2019 in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 94 years, eleven months and seven days.
Reatha was a homemaker and had also worked part-time as a waitress. She lived in Joplin from 1954-2005 before relocating to Springfield.
Reatha is survived by two daughters, Judith Hamilton and Vivian Smith, both of Springfield; one brother, Johnny Powers of Neosho; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; one niece whom she help raise, Janice Compton; many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

Reatha is preceded in death by her parents, an infant sibling; four sisters, Carol Hess, Laura Hammer, Letha Brindle and Judy Irish and four brothers, Sam Powers, Jesse Powers, Billy Powers and Ivan Powers.
