Harmon Landon

Mr. Harmon Orson Landon, 91, of Noel, Missouri departed this life on Friday, June 26, 2020 at the Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, Arkansas.

Harmon entered this life on July 25, 1928 in Tiff City, Missouri to the late William Charles and Ruby (Nutting) Landon. Harmon lived most of his life in the McDonald County area. He faithfully served his county in the United States Army from 1951 - 1956. 

On December 8, 1951 he was united in marriage to Margurette Rhoten in Eureka Springs, AR. Around 1959 he and Frank Boyd became partners and the Landon & Boyd Service Station became a popular place for years. He always raised cattle and spent many hours in the hay fields, always with his dog. Harmon touched many peoples lives and will always be greatly missed. 








Harmon was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Margurette, she passed on August 7, 2008 and a daughter-in-law Sherry Lynn Landon in 2018.

Harmon is survived by Two sons; Raymond and wife Betty of Noel, Missouri and Gerald Landon of Grove, Oklahoma. Four grandchildren and nine great Grandchildren as well as a host of other family and friends.

Private graveside services for Mr. Harmon Landon will be held at a later date. Services are under the care and direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Noel, Missouri.
