Kenny Farris

Winfred Kenneth “Kenny” Farris, 83, Reeds, Missouri, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the St. Luke’s Nursing Center, Carthage, Missouri. Kenny was born on September 6, 1937 in Aurora, Missouri to the late Carl Farris and Inez (McVey) Farris. He was a 1956 graduate of Webb City High School. 

He married Doris Jo Ann Williams on February 9, 1958 in Carthage, Missouri; she preceded him in death on September 3, 2017. 

Kenny was a lifelong farmer and truck driver for many years. He was also a school bus driver for 22 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Carthage.








Survivors include two daughters, Dorris Boyd (Kent), Reeds, Missouri, and Mary Casteel (Wallace), Reeds, Missouri; grandchildren, Erica Marrs (Justin), Jason Boyd (Sundeana), and Anna Williams (C.J.); two sisters, Barbara Riechman, Joplin, Missouri, and Jo Terry (Bill), Tulsa, Oklahoma; seven great-grandchildren, Wyatte, Hoyt, Shayla, Hadlee, Averi, Bricen, and Miles; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amanda Leah Boyd.

Graveside services will be held 2 pm, Friday, December 4, 2020 at Williams Cemetery, Reeds, Missouri. Memorial gifts are suggested to Williams Cemetery in care of Knell Mortuary.
