(From Ozark Funeral Home)Mr. Steven Powell, 66, of Noel, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, November 26, 2020, while at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Steve entered this life on December 28, 1953 in Iola, Kansas, the birthday he shares with wife Debra.
He married Debra Schifferli on October 14, 1972 in Noel, Missouri. Steve was a Tool and Dye machinist for Amark Engineering in Gravette, Arkansas retiring in January of 2019.
He was a member and the Chaplain of the Christian Motorcycle Association, Siloam Springs Chapter. He was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church in Noel, Missouri where he served on various Church boards. Steve served as our Fire Chief in Noel, Missouri for 20 years and was a Noel City Council Member for several years. Steve enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Steve is survived by his wife, Debra Powell of the home; a son, Travis Powell and wife, Tammie of Ft. Myers, Florida; daughter, Stephanie Powell of Noel, Missouri; brother, Larry Powell and wife, Gracie of Iola, Kansas; sister, Pat Roberts of Claremore, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Brett Stark, Carrie Ann Sergeant, Sara Kate Sergeant; his beloved dogs, Abby and Zolly; as well as a host of other family, friends and neighbors.
Memorial graveside services for Steve will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2020 at the Noel Cemetery in Noel, Missouri. Pastor Sherie Wymore will officiate. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Barrett, Brandon Francisco, Charlie Smythe, Billy Wayne, Jack Allman, Robert Stauber and Cliff Thornton.

Memorial contributions in memory of Steve are being directed to the United Methodist Church in Noel, Missouri.
