Carol Fore

Carol Stockton-Fore was born July 13, 1943 in Kingston, Missouri, one of nine children to Russell and Sarah (Matchett) Moss. She entered into rest on January 6, 2022 in Joplin, Missouri at the age of 78. 

Carol graduated from Penney High School, Hamilton, Missouri and moved to the Neosho area in 1989 from Texas. She had worked as a secretary at Crowder College in the Crowder truck driving training and then at Scholastic until retirement. 








She enjoyed reading her Bible, doing word search puzzles and watching Wheel of Fortune and Hallmark movies. She was a member of the Church of Hope in Neosho. 

Carol married Derrald Stockton, who preceded her in death in 2009 and then married LeRoy Fore on May 1, 2020 and he preceded her in death on December 29, 2021. 

She is survived by three children, Scott Goodman, Darren Goodman and Amy Austin, all of Neosho; two sisters, Phyllis Baker of Hamilton, Missouri and Nancy Franklin of Columbia, Missouri; four grandchildren, Makaela Carey of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Mariah Goodman of Neosho, Bryce Austin of Neosho and Dominique Austin of Joplin and step-daughter, Susie Hurn of Granby. 

In addition to her parents and spouses, she is preceded in death by six siblings.
