Dillon Evans, 26, Isabella Evans, 24, and Easton Evans, 2, of the Gentle Acres Farm in rural Erie, passed away the morning of Monday, August 24, 2026.

Dillon Hunter Evans, a true miracle baby, was born on January 28, 2000, in Parsons, KS, to Jimmy and Toni Evans. His cousins, Tammy Jones and Lisa Kellogg, helped bring him into this world, and they loved him like their own child. From the very beginning, Dillon was a wonderful gift to his family and brought them nothing but joy. His life was a blessing, and his presence brought love, laughter, and warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know him.

In May of 2018, Dillon graduated from Labette County High School. He had a love for the outdoors and for everything that kept him busy and surrounded by the people and things he enjoyed. He had a passion for roller skating, especially at Silver Wheels Skating Rink, where his parents met and fell in love in 1980. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, building derby cars, and participating in derbies. In 2025, Dillon proudly won Mad Dog at the Oswego Derby, a memory his family will treasure.

Dillon also had a great passion for shooting pool. He was ranked a 9 in the Parsons KS City Pool League, a testament to his talent and dedication to the game. His love for pool and derbies became something he was able to pass down to his young son, Easton Lee Evans, who, at just two years old, was already following in his father’s footsteps.

On September 9, 2023, Dillon married the love of his life, Isabella Rose Kitterman. Their family became complete with the birth of their son, Easton Lee. Together, Dillon, Isabella, and Easton made their home at The Gentle Acres Farm near Erie, where they worked alongside Malissa Stone to rebuild the farm. Easton loved helping his dad work with the “moo cows”.

Dillon worked at UPS and owned and operated Branch Out Tree Services with his big brother, Christopher Evans.

Survivors include his parents, Jimmy and Toni Evans; his siblings, Dawn Evans (Adam), Christopher Evans, Lacey Evans-Kellogg, Seirra Nichols (Nathan), and Breanna Evans (Dave); his in-laws, Jeffrey and Paula Kitterman; his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Kitterman-Smith (Drew); and nieces and nephews, Illyana, Drake, Payton, Kylor, Kiersten, Theron, Averi, Aven, James, Delaney, and Bobby.

He was preceded in death by all his grandparents and sister-in-law, Diane Evans.

Isabella Rose Kitterman was born on November 5, 2001, to Jeffrey and Paula (Honeycutt) Kitterman in Bartlesville, OK. She grew up and attended school in Caney, KS, graduating from Caney Valley High School in 2020.

After high school, Isabella impressively earned associate degrees in General Studies, Psychology, and Sociology from Labette Community College. She worked as a scheduler in the Radiology Department at Labette Health for the last five years. While she was deeply dedicated to her work, her greatest gift was the genuine connections and lasting relationships she formed with her coworkers and patients.

Isabella was a smart, young woman whose strong-willed nature and wisdom beyond her years gave her the confidence to advocate for others. She had a natural intuition and quick wit that allowed her to bring a smile to anyone’s face. The greatest joy in her life was being Easton’s mommy. He was the light of her world.

Isabella is survived by her parents, Jeffrey and Paula Kitterman; her sister, Elizabeth Kitterman-Smith (Drew) and their son, Bobby; her in-laws, Jimmy and Toni Evans; her brother-in-law, Christopher Evans; and her sisters-in-law, Dawn Evans (Adam), Lacey Evans-Kellogg, Sierra Nichols (Nathan), and Breanna Evans (Dave).

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ralph and JoAnne Honeycutt; and her paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Ann Kitterman.

Dillon, lovingly described as “a big teddy bear,” and Isabella, known as “the fun one,” were both strong, kindhearted, loving, and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Their generosity and willingness to care for others were simply part of who they were. They gave freely of their time, talents, and their hearts. Dillon and Isabella’s life was filled with love, family, friendship, hard work, and adventure. Although their time with us was far too short, the mark they left on the hearts of those who loved them will last forever.

Together, Dillon and Isabella’s greatest joy in life was raising their son, Easton.

Easton Lee Evans was born on February 7, 2024, to Dillon and Isabella (Kitterman) Evans at Labette Health in Parsons, KS.

He was a very smart little boy who was always smiling. He loved bubbles, his cows’ “moos”, Bluey, Mickey, and Toy Story. All boy, like his Daddy, Easton liked riding on skid steers, swimming, playing hide-and-go-seek, and watching and playing pool; in fact, he could already make a pool shot. His favorite foods were spaghetti, oatmeal, ice cream, snacks, cereal and crushed ice.

Easton was surrounded by family who absolutely adored him. He is survived by his Pa Pa and Yay Yay, Jimmy and Toni Evans; Nana and Papa, Paula and Jeffrey Kitterman; his Aunt Elizabeth, who was like a second Momma to him, his paternal aunts and uncle, Dawn, Lacey, Seirra, Breanna, and Christopher, and his first caregiver, “Mimi”, Malissa Stone.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at the Remnant Nazarene Church in Parsons. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Parsons. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at the Remnant Nazarene Church.
