(From Ozark Funeral Home)Rosetta (Zetta) Y. Lewis, born November 8th, 1961, in Clinton, Oklahoma, has departed from this life on August 24th, 2026. She passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by those she loved.
She was preceded in death by her husband of several years, Jackie Lee Lewis Jr.; her two sons, Rocky and Justin Calhoun; her father, Haskell Lail, and brother, Talfey Lail, great-granddaughter, Amara Recendiz; and many other loved ones.
Rosetta is survived by her mother, Letha Lail, as well as siblings including two sisters, Sheila Slay and Lou Wright, and three brothers, Dwight, Larry, and Rodney Lail. Daughters Jessaca Lewis, Tiffany Watkins, Chelsiey (<not a typo) Lewis, Eralyn Lewis, and Terri Marsh. Her grandchildren Ariel and Orin Ryan, Ashley and Tony Torres, Mathew Calhoun, Mariah Wright, Riley Calhoun, Jaxon Calhoun, Haliegh Lewis and Aedan Royer, Devanie Lewis and Adrian and Damian Recendiz, Braxton Lewis, Logan Cramer, Dymand Tygart, Shelten Tygart, and Serenity Wright. Great-grandbabies: Sidney, Cailyn, Aubry, Madison, Maggie, and Sadie Ryan, Anthony, Avery, and Ellie Torres, Maverick Recendiz and Everlie Recendiz, and Xylan Wright. And many more friends and family.
Rosetta loved collecting rocks, gardening, and going on adventures with her family. Zetta will be remembered for turning every day into a laugh and a craft, making the most delicious fudge, and being the #1 fry cook!
Her Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 6th from 11:00 am-4:00 pm at Dabbs Greer Park (Town Hole) in Anderson, Missouri. Please join her family in a heartfelt goodbye.
