(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)Roger E. Boyer, a resident of Greenfield, MO, went to be with the Lord on August 26th, 2026 at the age of 75.
Roger is survived by his wife, Carol Boyer; his children, Crystal Cefarelli, Angie Al Baloshi, and Bethany Proctor; his sister, Janie Wells; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sister, Marlene Thompson; his sister, Linda Plute; his sister, Sharon Case; and his mother, Stella Boyer.
Roger was born in Coffeyville, KS on May 22nd, 1951. He spent his younger years in Liberty, KS then later moved to Cherryvale, KS and resided there until 1994. Roger and his wife Carol later moved to Bernice, OK and lived on Grand Lake for several years. They moved to Greenfield, MO in 2015 where they still reside today. He was an engineer and draftsman for MEC in Neodesha, KS for 25 years and then worked in design engineering until retirement.
He enjoyed spending days with his best friend (brother), Dave Engroff, fishing on the lake and tournaments in the past. Roger also loved sketching pictures as a hobby.

Roger’s passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved him. Roger’s memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whom were honored to have had the privilege of knowing him.
Beloved son, brother, and friend. He loved simply, he loved deeply.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
