Glenna Reding

Glenna Mae Reding was born on June 27, 1938, in Goodman, Missouri, one of four daughters to Glen and Margaret Anderson Pogue. She entered into rest on August 19, 2026, in Joplin, Missouri, at the age of 88. Glenna was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Goodman High School in 1956. 

In 1957, she and Herbert ‘Herb’ Reding were united in marriage on February 15th at the First Christian Church in Neosho. Glenna was a homemaker for several years raising her family and in 1978, Herb and Glenna purchased Gaston’s IGA in Goodman and worked until their retirement in 1999. 






Glenna enjoyed gardening, genealogy, watching Cardinal baseball and Chiefs football. She had an appreciation for antiques and enjoyed antiquing. She was an excellent baker and cook and will be remembered as a gracious host for family get togethers. 

She especially enjoyed spending time with her sisters. She had a love for animals, especially dogs and cats. Glenna adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and spending time with them. She was a former member of the DAR and Colonial Dames. Glenna was a member of the First Christian Church in Neosho since 1957 and had served as a deacon and on the outreach committee. 








Glenna is survived by her three children, Gary Reding and wife, Tamara of Chesterfield, Missouri, Terry Reding of Nixa, Missouri and Donna Reding of Neosho; grandchildren, Pearce Reding and wife, Lauryn, Adrienne Reding, Dan Sollars and wife, Melissa, Jennifer Prier and husband, Mike, and Avery Reding; great grandchildren, Shelby Hunter, Emily Sollars, Romie Reding, Sloane Reding, Zech Gintz, Michael Prier, Kayla Prier and Brittany McGill and three sisters, Beverly Johnson of Neosho, Sharon Stroud of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Linda Clary of Neosho. 

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Teresa infant son, Bradley Reding and daughter-in-law, Diann Reding.
