Scott Alan Ingalsble, 64, passed away at his home in Reeds Spring, Missouri on Sunday August 16, 2026, after a courageous two-and-a-half year battle with metastatic kidney cancer. He was born in Independence, Missouri on October 25, 1961; son of Wayne and Lucile Ingalsbe
Scott entered service in the US Navy on November 6, 1981 where he spent time in the Military Police and earned the rank of FC3 as a Search Radar Technician. His unit spent time on the USS John King and was awarded the Navy ‘E’ ribbon and he earned a Battle Efficiency Ribbon for winning a battle efficiency competition. He was honorably discharged on February 10, 1988.
Scott, a true jack-of-all trades, was always working on something. He was a skilled mechanic, carpenter, and plumber. He could do just about anything and spent most of his career self-employed as Scott’s Services doing everything from building and remodeling homes to landscaping. Most recently he worked at R&H Plumbing - the only time he wasn’t working for himself - from 2015 until his medical retirement.
Scott’s pride and joy was his 1975 Harley Sportster. Riding was his favorite way to spend time and he rode it every chance he got. He entered it in bike shows and was very proud when he won first place more than once. He was a member of Freedom of the Road Riders, occasionally went on rides with the Christian Motorcycle Association, and especially enjoyed riding with his best friend Mark Hagood.
On New Years Eve, 2010, he met his wife Lisa. They were blessed to have each other for over fifteen years. Scott and Lisa had a vintage camper that they loved to go camping in, and a special camping spot at Roaring River was their favorite getaway. Scott loved trout fishing and cooking his catch at the campsite.
Scott had three granddaughters, Nikki, Kaylee, and Nova. He looked forward to Nova’s visits and took her on adventures to the river and rides on his motorcycle. He had not seen Nikki and Kaylee in years but missed them very much and spoke of them often.
Scott is survived by his wife, Lisa, of Reeds Spring MO; his son Wayne (Cristy) and granddaughters Nikki and Kaylee of Lampe, MO, stepdaughter Ashley (Adam) Easom and granddaughter Nova Han of Pittsburg, KS, stepdaughter Heather (Joseph) Meyer of Dillon, MT, his bonus son Crispin Lansangan of Kansas City, MO, and his mother Lucile of FL, and his siblings James Ingalsbe and Kim Ingalsbe.
