(From Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home)David Foster, 85, of Pierce City, Missouri, was called to his Heavenly home on Saturday, August 15, 2026, while at his home in Pierce City, Missouri. He was born in Pierce City on April 8, 1941, the son of the late Paul and Mary Ann (Clapper) Foster. He was united in marriage on December 30, 1961, in Chetopa, Kansas, to Catherine Rose Geer; she survives.
He was retired from Schreiber Foods in Monett, Missouri, a member of the National Guard, and a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pierce City, Missouri. He loved to fish and hunt.
David is survived by his wife, Catherine, of the home; two sons: Michael David Foster (Donna S.) of Pierce City, Missouri, and James Daniel Foster (Hannah) of Iola, Kansas; one daughter: Donna Kay Foster of Aurora, Missouri; one sister: Barbara Ann Severson of Batavia, Illinois; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services for David are pending at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
