Vincil R. Greiner, 94, Topeka, KS, passed away Wednesday evening, December 9, 2015 at the Peggy Kelly House 2, Topeka, KS. Vincil R. Ralston was born July 8, 1921 in Oswego, KS to the late Oren Ardo Ralston and Alma Oliver. She was a graduate of Carthage Senior High School, Class of 1939. Vincil married William S. Greiner on November 13, 1943 in Carthage, MO; he preceded her in death on September 18, 1992. She and her late husband made their home in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Following his death she returned to Carthage, MO in 1997. She worked as a title examiner and Vice President at Title and Guaranty Company in Jacksonville, FL, for forty years, retiring on December 31, 1989. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Carthage, MO.
Survivors include two nephews; Lon Stanton (wife Kay), Topeka, KS, and Dick Ralston (wife Rhonda), Carthage, MO; friend, Lindell Gallup, Hiram, GA; two nieces-in-law; Peggy Ralston, Carthage, MO, and Janet Stanton, Roseburg, OR; and numerous grand nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Iris Stanton, a brother, Dr. Oren Ralston, sister-in-law, Madylon Ralston, and nephews, Larry Ralston and Dr. Steve Stanton.
