Bill Molisak

William (Bill) Molisak, age 70 of Joplin, passed away at 9:04 a.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin after a sudden illness.

Bill was the son of the late William and Lucja Molisak Shelton and was raised by his step parents, James C. Shelton, Jr. and Elizabeth Shelton.

Born July 26, 1945 in Uffenheim, Germany, he had lived in Joplin since 2007 moving from Brandon, Mississippi, where he'd lived most of his lifetime. Bill retired from Levi Strauss & Co. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

On December 31, 1987, he married Elizabeth Ann (Libby). She survives.

Additional survivors include a son, William Molisak and Julie of Braxton, Mississippi; a sister, Bessie Trovato of Jackson, Mississippi and four grandchildren.
