Carol Sue King Haddock Brock, age 58 of Joplin, Mo. passed away early Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at her home following a short illness.
Carol was born on September 11, 1957 in Aurora, Co., the daughter of William and Margaret (Courtney) King. She has been a long time area resident. Carol was a bus driver for North Head Start in Joplin. She also drove for several years for Joplin R-8 and also worked for USA Print. Carol didn’t have children of her own, but considered every child she drove her kids. She was a member of Freedom Fellowship Church in Neosho, Mo.
She married Ivan Brock on August 29, 2009 in Joplin, he survives. Additional survivors include her mother, Margaret of Joplin; her sister, Billie Patterson of Joplin; and many loving nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her father, William King; and her brother, David R. King.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 21, 2015 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Pastor Rocky Tash officiated.. Burial followed at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. .
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
