Cory Guy

Cory Matthew Guy, 32, Granby, died December 3, 2015 in St. Louis, Missouri, following a sudden illness. 

He was born June 11, 1983 in Oceola, Iowa, the son of Charles E. and Janice (Howard) Guy. Cory graduated from East Newton High School and then went to Crowder College and MSSU, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree. He enjoyed spending time with his family, reading comics and surfing the internet. He was a member of Stella United Methodist Church. 

Cory is survived by his parents, Charles and Janice Guy of Granby; his grandmother, Mildred Howard of Neosho; two brothers, Mike Larson of Neosho and Tony Poole of Granby; two step sisters, Christy Guy of Joplin and Cheryl Harper of Granby; five nieces and nephews, Ashley, Autumn, Terra, Todd and Charlie; six great nieces and nephews, Aubrey, Allison, Gavin, Jake, Jessica and Grace; and numerous cousins. Cory is preceded in death by his grandfather, John Howard.
